Overview

The Regular Donors Acquisition Unit has the objective of developing strategies aimed at acquiring regular donors according to the guidelines identified internationally and reflected in MSF Italy's strategy. Specifically, the unit is responsible for managing and developing the Face To Face (FTF) acquisition channel and overseeing, in the person of the Head of Regulars Donors, other regular donor acquisition activities.

 

The FTF In-House area, within the Regular Donors Acquisition Unit, aims to acquire regular private donors through coordination, management, and development of the in-house FTF program.

 

The FTF In-House Officer manages fundraising activities aimed at acquiring regular donors through the in-house FTF program. S/he ensures the management and development of dedicated teams, the identification of geographic areas, and the development of new methods and initiatives functional to the activity.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition, planning and scheduling of annual and monthly FTF activities at national level and of the teams managed to achieve the set objectives;
  • Contribute to the development of the FTF program by identifying new ways of carrying out activities and new geographical areas of interest to the organization;
  • Identify, acquire, and manage locations for carrying out activities in the local area and its entry into the location database;
  • Ensure the selection and identification of dedicated personnel for relevant teams and their placement;
  • Ensure the planning and conduct of initial and continuous training of dialogue teams, and that the proposed training content is accurate and up-to-date;
  • Ensure the management of dialogue teams by managing and resolving any critical issues;
  • Ensure the monitoring and evaluation of results. Analyze the performance of the dialogue partners and implements support actions where necessary;
  • Manage initial institutional training on MSF and training activities on specific focuses where needed. Supports in the design and implementation of the new MSF Regular Area training project;
  • Work closely with the FTF Outsourcing Coordinator to coordinate activities in the area of responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree consistent with the objectives of the position
  • 3 years experience in Face To Face (FTF) activity within FTF programs
  • 1 year experience planning/conducting trainings 
  • Sound knowledge of Fundraising
  • Knowledge of people management and development
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative and propose innovative solutions
  • Good team player and collaborative attitude
  • Full working proficiency in Italian and English (at least B2 level)
  • Experience with MSF or other international NGO is an asset

Conditions

Contract: Fixed-term contract of 12 months with potential extension according to organizational needs. Level II of Italian CCNL of Commerce. Full time 100%

Gross Annual Salary: 31.506€ - max 38.121€ (depending on experience of the selected candidate)

Starting date: As soon as possible

Location: Hybrid. MSF Italy Rome or Milan office, and from home.
